The national defense and security champion and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has signed teaming agreements with three leading Turkish defense companies: Nurol Makina, FNSS, and ASELSAN. The agreements were formalized in a ceremony held under the patronage and presence of H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Biyari, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, and H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), alongside Prof. Haluk Görgün, President of the Turkish Defense Industries Agency. The agreements were signed by Eng. Mohammed bin Saud Alhodaib, Executive Vice President of SAMI Land. Each agreement carries a distinct scope, unified by a shared goal: advancing localization within SAMI Land’s capabilities.

Manufacturing and technology transfer initiatives stemming from these agreements will be executed at the SAMI Land Industrial Complex (SLIC) — a state-of-the-art facility scheduled to commence operations in Q4 this year. Designed to meet world-class manufacturing standards, SLIC will serve as a center of excellence for 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 armored vehicles and turret systems.
The complex operates under Industry 4.0 principles, utilizing AI, IoT, and robotic automation to enable unmanned, intelligent, system-driven production — enhancing efficiency, precision, and output quality.
