Sultan Al-Sultan is the Acting Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), in addition to serving as VP of Legal and Board Secretary at SAMI Advanced Electronics Company, a subsidiary of SAMI. In his role, he oversees legal affairs and provides strategic counsel to the Board of Directors and executive leadership on regulatory and commercial matters. With over 14 years of experience, Sultan has built a distinguished career across multiple industries, including defense, information and communication technology, retail, and financial services. He specializes in corporate law, dispute resolution, risk management, corporate governance, and contract negotiations. He has led strategic initiatives, built high-performing legal teams, and successfully negotiated major commercial agreements. He served as a Board Member of the National Finance Company (2020–2023) and currently sits on the boards of Advanced Electronics Support Services and Alsalam Aerospace Industries Company. Sultan holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from King Saud University, a Diploma in Law Practice from Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is a Certified Board Director from GCC Board of Directors Institute and completed the General Counsel Program from Euromoney in London. He has also completed executive education at Harvard Business School in Leadership and Decision-Making & Negotiation.
